The project

Location: Treviso

Category: Restoration

Architect: Tronchin & Partners

Area: 1,000 m²

As part of the redevelopment of Villa Marta, Agribeton is carrying out a major restoration project on an early 20th-century Art Nouveau building, situated in one of the most exclusive areas of Treviso’s historic centre.

The project, designed by Tronchin & Partners, involves the creation of four residential units, the refurbishment of the interior spaces and the replacement of the roof.

The exterior appearance of the villa has been preserved and enhanced through the cleaning and insulation of the existing façades. The decision to keep the building’s external appearance intact reflects a restoration approach that respects its Art Nouveau architectural identity and its relationship with the surrounding urban context.

Agribeton’s experience in the restoration of listed historic buildings proves to be crucial in a project of this complexity: reconciling the requirements of a new residential use with the preservation of the stylistic and formal characteristics of an Art Nouveau villa calls for precision in execution and design sensitivity.
